This scene is a culmination of several of my previous medieval armor sets and weapons along with some new pieces. It is of course filled with some relevant environment props and furniture to complete the scene.
I had a lot of fun putting the whole scene together to make something more than just a simple render against a faded grey background. I wanted it to look like a realistic environment scene that one could find inside a tower room while playing a game. Furniture is not something I have a lot of experience with but it was a nice change from the armor and weapons that make up the bulk of my work.
As usual, I modelled and created UV's for all assets in Maya, sculpted details in Zbrush, followed by baking and texturing in Substance. This project is my first experience using Unreal Engine 5 to render, and I am quite impressed with the quality of the engine and its built in lighting options. I feel confident in using the engine now and will likely use it again moving forward.
